Many people play MMOs in stages: they'll play one until they get tired of it, then move on to another. Luckily, there are many different kinds of MMOs out there, from the simplest to the most intricate and complex. Because of this, many people go through a series of MMOs as they grow up.

Recently, Blizzard announced that along with a new expansion pack, World of Warcraft forums will require users to display their full names. Fans were outraged. Blizzard was quickly forced to rethink this move, and finally cancel the idea.

You can learn so much from playing MMOs, and so much more from being a guild leader. Unfortunately, it's probably not a good idea to put "Leader of X Guild on MapleStory." You can try putting down your time as a guild leader by putting it as experience.

MMOs are different from other games because they allow us to create alternate realities among many other people... each in a reality of their own. How we choose to shape our realities can offer us an insight into the kind of person we are (or wish we were).

How are MMO games different from real life? Not by much, as it turns out. As virtual interaction and web use grows, the line between reality and virtual reality is blurred more and more. We now have websites like Facebook which exist for the sole purpose of extending your real world interaction to the internet. The fact that the site has you put your real name is a sign that your online identity is becoming more like your real identity. The great thing about the internet is that you can be anyone on it... but this is rapidly changing.

You're exploring the world of an MMO when you notice an adorable raccoon watching you. You approach it (squealing inwardly at how cute it is). There's no way something that cute could be dangerous! You reach out to pet it... and with one swipe of a little paw, you're dead. It was over before it even started. just because a monster is cute, doesn't mean it won't kick your butt. In fact, MMO developers seem to find some twisted humor in making powerful monsters look absurdly adorable. Why?

Is the Perfect MMORPG feasable? Absolutely. A few games come to mind as having many of the follow features. If some MMOs would just take that final step and make sure they excel in all of the things that an MMO is comprised of, the Perfect MMO would be created! I'll be waiting.
