Is mobile phone online game going to a part of our
MMOGs world in the furture? I believe so, let?s take a look at their process
now:
We don’t usually make posts out of upcoming mobile games because we don’t
promote games before we’ve reviewed them but this is an exception. Jumbuck, an
Australian company, has launched “Jumbuck Island”, a 3D virtual world that is
half multiplayer game and half chat room. The island includes a dance-floor, DJ
area, beaches and the “Hollywood Pool” featuring deck chairs and water
fountains. Jumbuck’s initiative will help set a standard for the mobile gaming
industry and it is for this reason that we’re willing to report this game
prematurely.
T-Mobile UK, Content Manager Lenka Horakova, commented, “The real advantage
with Jumbuck is that T-Mobile customers have been able to benefit immediately as
they are able to communicate instantly with
Jumbuck’s large established global community.
We’ve already had great feedback on their services from our customers.”
Carriers will benefit significantly from the increase in messaging and
airtime from users playing this game. Jumbuck Island is available on Sprint,
Nextel, Optus, O2 and Cingular.
