Warrior Epic is an F2P/F2Download RPG that is being developed by Possibility Space. Want to know more information about Warrior Epic? Let Brice Lucas unlock the secrets of the Warrior Epic.
MMOsite.com: Many players may still be unfamiliar with Warrior Epic. Can you first give us an overview of Warrior Epic?
Brice Lucas: In our game, you will manage a hall that houses several specialized, fully featured warriors. Questing is done using strategy and team play, this is no hack and slash grind fest. Our graphics engine was developed in house and our digital distribution system makes Warrior Epic very portable. Our community is very important to us, and we remain in direct contact with it via our online forums at www.warriorepic.com. Our players will help us shape the wold, game play, and content of Warrior Epic.
MMOsite: Can you tell our readers a little bit about the Warrior Epic development team and their experience within the MMOG industry?
Brice Lucas: Operating out of Austin, TX and Beijing, China; Possibility Space is a developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software. The founders have been key contributors to several hit titles. Some of their past projects include Battle for Middle Earth II, Gears of War, Starcraft, Age of Mythology, Command and Conquer III, and the Sims series. In addition to game experience, their art directors have been visual designers for feature films including Star Wars Episode III, Transformers, Mission Impossible, The Island, The Day After Tomorrow, and others.
Being an independent studio has allowed Possibility Space to innovate in many areas of the online gaming genre. We are not being held back by the bureaucracy that inhibits the abilities of larger companies.

MMOsite: Is there a storyline in the game? Can players influence the storyline and how?
Brice Lucas: Warrior Epic takes place in a completely unique fantasy universe..a lot happens there and your role in this world is important. There is a main ˇ°Campaignˇ± story which is accompanied by side stories and adventures. Players can affect the storyline by participating in the forums and contests that will be held after release. We want our users to help us shape the game the way that they want it shaped. That being said, we still hold the power to surprise our users with interesting plot twists and story developments.
MMOsite: As we know, there will be at least 8 classes in Warrior Epic. Can you basically introduce them to our readers? What sort of unique traits will each of them have?
Brice Lucas: We haven't disclosed any information for 3 of our Warriors, but I will happily provide details about the other 5.
The Pit Fighter: This guy is a real brute. He likes getting down and dirty, specializing in melee combat and ground pounding AOE. The Pit Fighter likes to fight topless, which makes him more vulnerable to attacks..so if you use him, get ready to beat your enemies into a pulp and remember to invite a healer or bring lots of potions.
The Devotress: The Devotress hails from lands south of Providence. Her blade is swift and she is capable of attacking multiple foes in a single attack. Her speed and agility makes her an asset to any group. She uses some low level magic and can cast buffs on the party as well.
The Archer: These are not your normal "hide behind the lines" archers. If they aren't demolishing foes from afar with incendiary projectiles, they are getting right up in their enemy's face and cutting their jugular with ridiculously sharp short blade that he keeps at his side.
Soul Harvester, aka "Illusionist": The Circus of the Seventh Sign is a deceitful and deadly clan that holds some of the most dangerous creatures in the world. Soul Harvesters are calamities that travel with the circus. They use illusion techniques to swoon their prey before closing in for the fatal blow. Even though their appearance is one of youthful beauty, in actuality they are an ancient race of death dealing, merciless creatures. Ranged spells are used to confuse and confound their enemies. If they are confronted by a foe that is resistant to their charms, they can play a support role by buffing party members with powerful spells.
Zambrano Warriors: Gun toting nomads who seek treasure and glory. They are cunning and extremely capable ranged fighters who can drop several foes in one blast from their rifles. Zambrano Warriors are a great complement to parties with Pit Fighters or Devotresses...but if combat heats up and the enemy closes in, they may be limited to beating the beasts with the butts of their guns.

MMOsite: What gameplay features will set Warrior Epic apart from other action MMOs? How will the Player vs. Player combat be like in Warrior Epic?
Brice Lucas: Warrior Epic is deviating quite a bit from the stereotypical MMO mold that has dominated the market. To begin, you will manage several different warriors as opposed to just one. Now, this doesn't mean that they are shallow and lack the features of other RPG games. Each warrior class is fully featured with its own skills, equipment, and customization. Your warriors will have spirits as well. Spirits can be equipped and used in battle as abilities. These attacks can save the party and are incredibly entertaining to watch.
Also, the concept of having a "Hall" is innovated to this genre as well. You will really want to trick out your Hall in Warrior Epic. Adding rooms will give you access to special equipment, warriors, buffs, and more.
We are working very hard to ensure that people stay interested in our game regardless of how little or how much time they want to invest in it. One way we have done this is by setting up a reward system that gives loot and exp after completing a quest. Part of catering to both casual and hardcore gamers involves taking the extreme time commitments out of the game. So for the casual gamers out there, you will be able to sit down for short periods of time and still accomplish many things in Warrior Epic....for the hardcore gamers, if you want to play for 10 hours straight...you will feel well compensated for your time investment.
Warrior Epic will receive a constant stream of regular updates that will expand and add content to the game. New character classes, abilities, equipment, quests, and other game features will be added on a near monthly basis. We want our users to have new experiences with our game every time they play.
The PvP system will be similar to the quest instancing. There will be different types of "games" that you will compete in against other halls and groups of players. An honor system will be implemented, as well as PvP achievements and rewards.
