Red Stone is a unique 2D fantasy MMORPG with an amazing, compelling story. Choose from eight character class. Wield swords, bows, pole-arms, magical staves, or adventure as a tamer, fallen angle or werewolf. In Red Stone, you will explore dangerous lands, fight powerful monsters and complete fascinating quests.

MMOsite.com: To start, can you basically introduce yourself and your team to our audience?

Marvic Ambata: My name is Marvic Ambata and I am the K2 Network Operations Producer for Red Stone.

MMOsite.com: What kind of online world is Redstone like? What types of gamers will find it attractive?

Marvic Ambata: Redstone is a combination of everything that made the classic RPGs and the current slate of MMO s popular. It merges the two genres seamlessly, set in the style of a classic RPG with loads of unique items and consumables with rich quests and storylines. I think gamers interested in getting back to great game play will enjoy Redstone.

MMOsite.com: Why did you come up with the title "Redstone"? What does it refer? And is there anything related to the storyline?

Marvic Ambata: The title Red Stone refers to a giant meteor that crashed into the continent of Prandel several hundred years ago. The meteor shattered upon impact scattering across the whole continent. Following the devastating aftermath of the meteor s collision, stories began to spread of mysterious red gems that granted untold powers and wealth to those who possessed them.  This is where the adventure begins...

MMOsite.com: Redstone has attracted a lot of attention from the players after it started its open beta in Japan and Korea. Why is it so appealing to the gamers in these two countries?

Marvic Ambata: I would have to say that the addictive Game-play is first and foremost what makes Redstone so popular in Asia.  But Game-play is something that we believe is universal, so we are pretty excited about our release in North America and other regions.  Another reason is our unique Fortune System, where players are able to purchase Fortune Boxes which contain a wide variety of items and consumables for the hardened adventurer. The luckiest of these adventurers will receive special tickets which will grant the player access to the most unique and powerful items in the game. An engaging story, quick rewards and fun quests are all additional aspects of Redstone that make it a very popular game.

MMOsite.com: 3D MMO games are a trend, so why do you make Redstone a 2D game? Can it compete with 3D MMO games? And how?

Marvic Ambata: Redstone definitely has that retro feel to it, but the advantages are that this game is very big and action packed, while still being very reasonable in system specification requirements.  Not everyone has the cutting edge computer and video card, so this is a game that everyone can play.  But the artwork and animation are both strong in this game.  I am sure once you start playing that it will not be long before you are totally immersed into the world of Redstone.
