m Seal, senior journalist from MMOSITE. Nice to chat with you. First, can you give us a general introduction to MixMaster? What kind of multiplayer online world is it?
Matsu: Firstly, we would like to thank MMOSITE for giving us this opportunity. We appreciate that you have given us a great opportunity to further interact with our users, because MixMaster is a community game and it is important for us to be close to our users. So thank you.
So, Mixmaster is an anime style fantasy MMORPG. Free download and free play. The most unique thing is that you your companions are all Monsters. These monsters will grow with you and with over 300 monsters in this game, this game is never short of character. And what better, these monsters can be fusion with others and become an even stronger monster.
Steph: If you have seen any of our graphics or screenshots, a lot of monsters are VERY cute little things. So don t be intimidated that our world is surrounded by over 300 monsters. Some of them are so cute, I never want to fight them!
And as Matsunaga san has mentioned, we are focused on developing a friendly community. Community building service is quite strong in Mixmaster. You develop your Henches and fight with or against your mates! There are many events and quests which you can only complete with your friends of Guild members. This allows and makes our community develop.
MMOSITE.COM: From the title "MixMaster", we assume that "Mix" must be the highlight of this game, is it right? How does it work throughout the game and how many mix formulas will be available?
Steph: Yes, mixing is a vital element of the game. You will not go far in this game without mixing! So basically most of our monsters, all but the level 1, base monsters, can be gained by mixing. There are 2 ways to get a monster. By mixing or sometimes they drop the "core". You can recover these cores and the defeated monster will become your companion. I guess these monsters become traitors quite easily.
Matsu: The thing is, as the game progresses, monsters get stronger, and stronger the monster, the rarer they will drop their cores. So to obtain the meanest, toughest monster, you must start from the bottom and mix your way up!
Steph: We have 8 types of monster. Dragon, Devil, Animal, Bird, Plant, Insect, Metallic and Mystery. They all have different strengths, weaknesses and skills.
Each monster has its unique attribute to. Like agile, or powerful. Depending on that, they all develop differently. So an agile FireDragon will develop totally differently to a powerful FireDragon. There is not 1 exactly same creature in MixMaster.
Now, when mixing, one is a main body and the other is a sub. So for example, when a Dragon as main is mixed with a Devil as sub, it becomes a Dragon with the strength of a Devil. And so on.
As you can imagine, it become very very verrrrry complex!
Matsu: We have publicised initial bunch of the mix formulae on our website. Less than half. We hope our fans can complete this table. We encourage our users to build the game themselves and help each other out.
