MMOsite.com: As we all know, 2Moons is based on the Korean game Dekaron. Will 2Moons game system still be built on Dekaron or you are going to change the whole system except the graphics engine?
 
David Perry: The game will still retain the backbone of Dekaron. The reason I am making 2Moons is because I liked what was going on in Dekaron.  I liked that it was very action / arcade like, yet with all the components of an MMORPG.  I also liked that gamers could easily move over and have some fun in 2Moons, even if they never signed up for an MMORPG before. The concern was really that the Dekaron story is a Korean story, and I have lots of new ideas for the gameplay.  So there is a lot to do.  On the other hand I?m impatient and dont want to wait 3 years to launch.  Our first stage is really to get the new story and dialog into the game, then get some testing on that.  It sounds easy, but the story and dialog is over 4,000 pages already!  There are also new modes in Dekaron that I want to make sure end up in 2Moons too, for example, the "Siege Modes" or the very advanced "Hostile Takeover Mode."
 
MMOsite.com: How many classes will there be in 2Moons? We have seen the screenshots of Bagi Warrior which is an original class from Dekaron. Are you going to delete some classes or add some new classes? 
 
David Perry: The 6 classes are: Azure Knight - Bagi Warrior - Segnale (Healer) - Vicious Summoner - Incar Magician - Hunter.
 
Currently these classes cover the bases nicely, however the clear focus of the game is the enemies.  There is TONS of them and more being added all the time.  The worlds are being rampaged by them and we really need you to feel like you dont know whats coming next.  (That makes the exploring much more fun.)

MMOsite.com: In many MMO games players can choose their race and gender, but in Dekaron these are determined by the class, are you planning to change this setting?
 
David Perry: Good question.  In the first release, we will stick with the pre-determined gender, but yes it?s on my list to change in the coming months.  It is not that big a change, but if plenty of people ask for it, it will bubble up the priority list.  (That is what I LOVE about MMO games is the ability to get feedback and make changes.  To keep making the game better and better.  Coming from the console world, we have always been jealous of this ability.  That said, consoles are closing in fast (now they all have internet connections), and so live patching/upgrading will be a feature in all games at some point.)

MMOsite.com: Will a trade skill system be added into 2Moons? What would you suggest players to do apart from leveling up and earning money?
 
David Perry: You can trade and modify items of course, but I do anticipate well be adding in more trading (skill based) features in the coming updates.  That said, I feel Dekaron is too "nice" a game, and so 2Moons will be more action focused, and a lot of my requested changes push it even more in that direction, so overall I wont be looking to slow it down too much.  So you should anticipate less making of bandages, or cooking, or collecting rare flowers, and more developing things that hurt.

MMOsite.com: What about the economy in 2Moons? Will you allow players to exchange their in-game currency into real cash? How will you control the economy or how will players drive the economy?

David Perry: Currently the money is called "Acclaim Coins" and we are planning that these coins can be transferred into any Acclaim game.  Acclaim has many more games coming that have not been announced yet, so theres NO doubt that gamers will find one that they will enjoy.  Currently I dont think theres a way to turn the coins into cash, but this is a great question to ask Acclaim the next time you interview them, as they have been implementing the coin systems recently.
 
MMOsite.com: In Dekaron I dont see much blood (well at least I dont think so). You have declared that 2Moons will be one of the most violent MMO games in the world. Does that mean you are going to improve its visual and sound effects, and anything else? 
 
David Perry: Hehe.  Yes, 2Moons will live up to my promise.  It is a step by step process however.  The first stage the gamers will experience is the story and dialog in our first round of Closed Beta, after they experience that I will defy them to find a more edgy script in any MMO in the world.
