Christian Schuett , the Community Manager and Lead Gamemaster for Neocron 2 tells us more about the game.

MMOsite.com: To start, can you basically introduce yourself? What is your major responsibility in the team and what attracted you to join this project?

Christian Schuett: Hi, my name is Christian ¡°SnowCrash¡± Schuett and I am the Community Manager and Lead Gamemaster for Neocron 2 here at Reakktor Media Ltd. since 2002. I have been playing computer games since I was ten years old so I have a large affinity for games. I heard about Neocron in 2001 from a friend, had a look at the game in beta and was excited from the first minute, especially because of the Cyberpunk setting of which I am a big fan.

MMOsite.com: For those players who are not familiar with your game, what would you say to them about Neocron in your own words?

Christian Schuett: Neocron 2 is a first person real-time combat MMORPG played in a dense sci-fi cyberpunk setting. After several devastating wars the last remaining inhabitants of Earth have retreated into huge mega cities to escape the radioactive contaminated wastelands. The runner, as we call the player in Neocron 2, has to challenge everyday life in the dangerous world of Neocron in heated player vs. player battles or at fighting mutated monsters, robots and evil humanoid enemies.  

MMOsite.com: The new global Neocron Evol 2.1 Storyline: "The Death Circuit" starts at September, 16th, 2006." Can you tell us more info about this? What feature do you think is the highlight of this new version?

Christian Schuett: The new global storyline called "The Death Circuit" is a long term storyline which evolves step by step over four chapters. Besides the live in-game events hosted by our excellent Gamemaster team, the storyline is being covered through our role-play webzines Neocronicle (www.neocronicle.com) and Voice of the Resistance (www.votr-mag.com). The highlights will definitely be the various in-game events as they allow the player to experience the storyline first hand.
