 Today Japanese publisher RoC Works announced it will partner with Korean game developer NIDA Entertainment as the Japanese licensor for Nida Online, a fantasy/sci-fi MMORPG. Today¡®s announcement confirms widespread rumors of a Japanese release of the game, which originally launched in February 2006. The game uses the free play model that¡®s fairly common in Korean MMORPGs: there is no monthly subscription fee and all revenue comes from sales of in-game items. RoC Soft has launched a teaser site for the game and plans to start beta testing the Japanese version in June. | | |
