Accordint to next-gen news,former Sega of America president and COO Bernard Stolar and former Sega sales and marketing exec Chris Gilbert will be heading up in-game ad company, Adscape Media.
Stolar will serve as chairman of the board, and Gilbert will be CEO.
Stolar was the very visible president and COO of Sega of America during the Saturn days and also pushed the North American Dreamcast launch. Prior to that, he was executive VP of Sony Computer Entertainment America and helped with the original PlayStation‘s launch. He has served in numerous other positions in the games industry, such as president of Mattel Interactive and BAM! Entertainment. Stolar made news earlier this year when he joined the board of directors at Summus, a mobile phone content producer.
"The opportunity for leadership in this industry is in delivering access to and interaction with the greater gaming public through multiple channels in compelling ways that enhance, rather than detract from, the gaming experience," said Stolar.
