In addition, 25 percent of those polled don¡®t mind in-game ads as long as they help stabilize game prices and are non-intrusive.
The same survey also revealed that the majority of PC gamers -- 60 percent -- play games online, and of that group, 82 percent play them for free. The report forecasts that PC gaming will be adopted by 44 percent of U.S. and Canadian households by 2011, thanks in part to the Viiv platform, increasingly powerful PCs and accelerating broadband adoption. | | |
