Fate of the Dragon Online will go into its beta on Feb. 22nd. While everybody is expecting this exciting moment, it is learned that this MMOSRPG will be licensed to Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland. France will have its French version and the other three countries will have a German version.

The Overseas Business Department of Object Software takes charge of the license issue of Fate of the Dragon Online. According to Liu Chunhua, Manager of the Overseas Business Department, Gamigo AG which is the European distributor of Object Softwares another title World of Qin II, will be responsible for the operation of Fate of the Dragon Online in the above four European countries. Gamigo AG is a well established game operator in Europe. Its key shareholders include Axel Springer AG and Deutsche Telekom AG. Object Software has established long-term cooperative relationship with Gamigo AG. Their cooperation also involves in the building of a bridge between Chinese and European gaming industries.

The French and German versions of Fate of the Dragon Online are now entering testing phase. It will be commercially launched in the later half of this year. Currently, we are negotiating with Gamigo regarding the operation of Fate of the Dragon Online in other European countries. Besides, concerning our overseas strategy, we will focus more on Southeast Asian regions starting from the latter half of 2006, said Liu Chunhua.

Concerning the operation mode, price and other relevant issues, Liu Chunhua said, We can say, in China, the license price for Fate of the Dragon Online hits record high. For the cooperation mode, specific amount and other details, well hold a press conference to reveal more.

Liu Chunhua added, Fate of the Dragon Online is favored by quite a number of European distributors due to its unique Chinese culture and its big market in China, but more importantly, that‘s because the core technology of the game has been recognized, for example Gfx3d, graphic engine based on OverMax SDK game, performs well beyond overseas operators expectation, and text engine Tfx is capable of real-time text editing and multi-language translation.
