According to Gamecloud news the urban-themed mmorpg, Hip-Hop Legends, has been put on hold.

Gamecloud has learned that Hip-Hop Legends, the planned urban themed MMORPG, has been put on hold. The game was announced back in January 2005 by 404 Gaming and was supposed to have likeness of a number of both living and deceased hip-hop artists as NPCs in the game. However, 404 Gaming‘s Adam Ghetti has now told Gamecloud that a planned deal with a publisher feel through later in 2005 and the decision was made to halt development of the title. Ghetti told us that the company is concentrating development on their MMOCenter.com games from their spin-off dev studio Rapid Reality which is currently developing titles like the fantasy MMO game The Chronicle and the newly revealed Africa MMORPG.
