On Feb 6th, 2006, NHN, a major Korean MMO developer officially announced that it had signed an deal with China‘s Shanda Entertainment, which will introduce NHN�s 3D MMORPG ArchLord into China. Shanda will start the service of the game in the second quarter of 2006.

NHN Games started the development work on ArchLord in January 2002 and has invested 3 years of time and US $10 million of capital to create the title. The graphics of ArchLord is more magnificent than that of Lineage II and the quest number in the game is more than 6000, which can even compete with World of Warcraft. In just three weeks since ArchLord lauched its open beta in Korea, the number of players reached 1 million and the number of concurrent users reached 75,000. In Internet caf�s, ArchLord even once outperformed World of Warcraft to rank third among all the games.
With the game to be released in North America and China, NHN will speed up its pace in marketing ArchLord into Japan and Southeast Asia through cooperating more with overseas partners.
