Dreamwing is a widely known Chinese RF guild. One of the main reasons is that all members are beautiful girls. I am honored to have this opportunity to conduct an interview with their leader-Ye Shaodan, she also sent us lots of pictures about her and her members.they are fantastic, aren?t they?
MMOSITE:Why did you come to the idea of establishing such a guild?
Ye Shaodan:At the beginning, we several girl gamers in the guild would get together and exchange views on game or other sorts of things. Gradually, we had a tacit understanding. And at that time, the guild was not organized well. So we came to the idea of establishing an all female guild so that we can communicate in a better way. Finally, Dreamwing, a warm place for girls came into being.
MMOSITE:How many members do you have? Can?t male players worm their way into your guild?
Ye Shaodan:Currently, we have 120 female members and of course, they are all beautiful girls . Members have to take three examinations, covering video, voice and talking style. At the same time, we?ll use IS voice tool during gaming. We?ll immediately tell whether she is a girl or not. In addition, we?ll get together every Saturday on IS. So, it?s difficult for male players to worm their way into our guild.
MMOSITE:What do you think of RF?
Ye Shaodan:RF is a pretty good game. First, it has very beautiful graphics. We choose to be Cora, a race very suitable for our girls. Second, the control mode of the game is not difficult, acceptable to us. Third, the game has a good setting. The biggest feature of this game is its race vs race vs race war which enables players to enjoy the happiness of success and to a large extent embodies the cohesion of a guild or a race. RF is a game fit for guilds.
MMOSITE:What is the goal that your guild intends to achieve in RF?
Ye Shaodan:Not to be the strongest, but to be the best in cooperation.
MMOSITE:For those newbies or new comers, what kind of help will you offer them?
Ye Shaodan:First, we?ll provide them with some game materials so that they will get more familiar with the game. Second, we?ll give them some equipment or in-game currency, but not too many. Third, we?ll respond as soon as possible whenever they have any questions since we use IS voice tool during gaming. We?ll help new members as much as we can, but we are not to support those who rely completely on others. It?s not good for enhancing one?s own gaming ability or the overall gaming ability of our guild.
MMOSITE:Can you say something about the activities held by your guild?
Ye Shaodan:In-game activities: 1. Just before the Christmas holiday, joining hands with the official site, we held an activity dubbed "Beauties Save Heroes". 2. Participated in mine war.
Activities outside game: 1. We held a large scale Kara OK contest on IS. 2. Participated in blog contest hosted by the official site. 3. Participated in RF theme song singing contest organized by the official site. 4. Participated in screenshot contest hosted by the official site.
MMOSITE:Since the establishment of the guild, what is your happiest or saddest thing?
Ye Shaodan:There are quite many happy things, such as victory in the game, communicate heart to heart with other members or get reward from the official site. The saddest thing is in RF. During closed beta testing, because we did not have many members, quite a number of girls died in a mine war. At that time, we did not get help, but denial instead. We felt a fool of ourselves. Almost all the girls participating in that mine war cried.
MMOSITE: As an all female guild, what do you think is the largest difficulty you have encountered?
Ye Shaodan:The largest difficulty is about the combat strength. Because our guild is completely consisted of female players, for sure our gaming ability is not as good as other guilds. So when we choose which game to play, we?ll give special attention to the features of that game, pondering whether it is suitable for us or not.
MMOSITE:What is your guild spirit and how do you and your members work together to promote it?
Ye Shaodan:Our guild spirit is join hands to enjoy online games, share happiness and bitterness and create glory together.
The first thing we take into consideration is the atmosphere in the guild. Warmth and unity are our aim. Secondly, we attach much importance to discipline. A guild without discipline has no life. Concerning how to promote our guild spirit, first, I think I?ll set an example, and then veteran members will pioneer and all other members will follow.
