Attention players! During the server maintenance we have made several changes to the game.
To begin, on the server, Poseidon, we have addressed the "Fail to save" bug that occurs after a failed blessing. Players will now successfully be able to save even after an item has been destroyed.
On both servers the Exp Potion event should now be operational. Players will be able to retrieve exactly one Exp Potion per day, which, upon being used, will increase Exp gain rate to 150% for one hour.
On a different note, we at MGame have been attentive to the comments and suggestions of our players and are aware of several issues within certain servers that have resulted from certain bugs during our Open Beta. Because issues regarding balance, equanimity, and economy are extremely delicate, we realize that handling such problems take great care and consideration. With this in mind, we have made certain changes within the game to account for these issues so that things like economy, balance, and equanimity will be restored so that players may once again experience fair play within The Legend of Ares. We understand that some players may object to the changes we‘ve made, but we hope our players will understand the reasonings behind our actions, and pray that they remain patient as things gradually return back to a normal state.
That having been said, we have made the following changes:
-all duplicated items have been deleted from the server
-we have reduced many players‘ money from both their inventory as well as their banks in order to stabilize an over inflated economy.
Of course we realize that many people might be upset with regard to these changes, but we ask for their patience and understanding. If any of our players feel that they have been affected by these changes in error, we ask them to email GM@legendofares.com with the subject: "Server Change Issue". While we are happy to look into the issue for you, please provide us with exact detail how you‘ve been wronged by the change including your character id, account name, server, class, and guild. If you have lost wealth or items gained from the use or sale of any duplicated items, we cannot restore any of your items or wealth. In fact, having a GM investigate your status only to find that the reason aforementioned is why you have gained your wealth in the first place may result in a temporary suspension of your account or worse. Please be absolutely sure before sending us your email that you have not gained your wealth via illicit means. Once again we thank our players for their patience and understanding, and look forward to seeing them in game.
