Webzen introduces Huxley for the PC and Xbox 360™, the first game to allow console players and PC players to go head-to-head in first-person shooter (FPS) battles on a massively multiplayer scale.

In a post-apocalyptic world human beings have mutated and divided into Sapiens, Alternatives and Hybrids.  The Sapiens and Alternatives both battle for control of the Earth¡®s resources as the Hybrids, a mysterious third race, fight for their very survival.  In the PC game, players take on the role of the Sapiens or Alternative. On the Xbox 360™ they enter the game as an elite member of the Hybrid Liberation Organization (HLO), fighting toe-to-toe against the Sapien and Alternative armies to unshackle the oppressed Hybrids.  On this E3 Expo,I was glad I have a chance to chat with Jae Jun Han,the Game Designer of Huxley,he helped us know more about the game.


We first talked about the differences between Huxley and CS (Counter Strike),apart from the larger number of players and larger battle field,some people think Huxley and CS are nearly the same.
Thinnking otherwise,Jae Jun Han laughed:"Huxley is MMO, leve up, customized weapons and profession, skill, You can have guild, fight against mobs, buy house, and you have community."
UNIQUE CHARACTER GROWTH SYSTEM:¡°Growth¡± in Huxley means better capabilities through new licenses, stronger weapons, armor and vehicles. Players are able to enhance their own combat styles by acquiring out-of-this-world weapons and new skills granted through obtained licenses.
COOPERATIVE MISSIONS AND QUESTS: Tense multiplayer quests and missions with challenging AI enemies require close collaboration and cooperation between players. Nerve-wracking battles require strategic communication and coordination.

"Huxley is massively multiplayer online First-person Shooter (MMOFPS). Will players with CS experience enjoy some advantages when they play Huxley?"
"Of couurse."said Jae Jun Han,"It is pure FPS and control skill is very important, so if you are good in CS, you will do good in Huxley as well."

"Since Huxley is a MMOFPS, the server connection speed plays an important role when players are in combat, especially in PvP. How will you tackle this problem? Does it mean that players who have a faster connection speed enjoy more advantages in PvP?"
"We will have different servers around the world to ensure that you get the fastest connection possible. "he said with gentle smile on his face,"Lower ping you have, it will be better and since it is Squad vs. Squad game, high ping on one person will not result in overall result of the battle."

The last,about the help system for the new players,Jae Jun Han said:"It has tutorial guild, The low level players can fight only in a small battle field."
