M&M Staff: Monster & Me has strong a Jianghu atmosphere. To a person traveling in Jianghu, equipment is very important. Equipped with super weapon and armor, you will be invincible. At the beginning, players can find equipment in Forging House or Jewelry Shop in city. Here is a tip for players: different cities provide different kinds of equipment that are priced differently. You?d better compare the price before buying an equipment or item. Of course, in Monster & Me, players have to obtain rare treasures through accomplishing quests or by forging with their own efforts. Besides, the player can carve his name on the item he forges. You can give it any name you like. You can give it to another player as a gift or you can keep it for yourself. Equipment forging means players can produce a treasure with a common item. Weapons, armors, shoes and ornaments can all be forged. The forging must be carried out at different places, for example, weapons ad armors in forging house and ornaments in jewelry shop. There are four grades for forging item, namely normal, refined, unique, super, and each grade requires different level and certain item to support.

Forging conditions

• Normal: lvl 200 or above, can only select one item and cannot attach medicine.
• Refined: lvl 500 or above, can only select one item and cannot attach medicine.
• Unique: lvl 1000 or above, can only select one item and one kind of medicine.
• Super: at least reborn once, can only choose one item and several kinds of medicine.

MMOSite: Chinese culture is so different to American culture. Do you think it will affect M&M?s operation in US market or not?

M&M Staff: Every country and every people has its own unique culture which is excellent in some aspect. Nowadays, the world culture is becoming more and more diversified and developing into a multi-polar stage. It continues to be blended in the long history of the world, which is what the future world demands. In other words, it is because Monster & Me enjoys strong Chinese cultural feature, it can stand out while western fantasy style online games are prevailing. The Chinese cultural heritage is also world cultural heritage. We are confident that Monster & Me will become popular on the other side of the earth.

MMOSite: 10. In most MMORPG, players can only reach level 100. However, in Monster & Me, players can even reach level 1000. Is there any special implication?

M&M Staff: That?s true, most MMORPG restrict players to be lower than lvl 100 and increase the difficulty for players to level up. However, in the world of Monster & Me, which is an immortal and pet themed online game, the concept of ?immortal? runs through the whole process while the player levels up. The players? level in M&M can be as high as lvl 1200, but it is very quick for players to level up. With the help of pets, it is very easy for players to reach lvl 300, and in short time players can reach the top level in other MMORPG. We hold that the M&M world for players must be free.
