We are so happy to have a chance to quiz Christophe Watkins, Vice President of Fallen Earth Business Department, who was kind enough to take time from his busy schedule to answer our questions. The following are the Q&A between MMOsite and Christophe Watkins, hope you enjoy it.

MMOsite: Since you said Fallen Earth is either a "Post Apocalyptic" or "Science Fiction" game, what unique elements does Fallen Earth have compared with other "Fantasy" or "Science Fiction" games?

Christophe Watkins: Post apocalyptic is a sub genre of Sci Fi. It is a scenario of immediate potential future. The setting has to do with the fears of people in their own times. Oil in the seventies for Mad Max, computers in the eighties for Blade Runner and Networks in the nineties for The Matrix.
The 2000¡®s we believe is going to be viruses, genetic manipulation/biology.

Now imagine 9 out of 10 people die after a deadly virus spreads.

Now imagine survival for 100 years.

Now spawn and rebuild, rediscover... That¡®s Fallen Earth. The game.

MMOsite: Dozens of different weapons, from knives to plasma cannons, all customizable with various attachments" sounds interesting. Do "customizable" and "attachments" mean that we can create some special weapons, but how will this system run? Is there any other customizable stuff in the game? (Quoted from official site)

Christophe Watkins: We don¡®t wish to reveal top much at this time. We prefer to reserve the surprise to the beta testers in order to have better feedback.

MMOsite: At the Economic part in the game, will it be some special characters such as merchants created only for business trading?

Christophe Watkins: Fallen Earth will have merchant NPCs for trading, yes.

MMOsite: Sorry for asking a common question. When is the beta version going to be completed, and how many players will have a chance to join the beta test?

Christophe Watkins: Beta test has NOT been announced yet. When we¡®re ready to start selection, we¡®ll let the community know.

MMOsite: Are you planning to look for Asian distributors when the beta finishes?

Christophe Watkins: For Asia, we are looking for distributors in China, Japan and Korea primarily TODAY.
We welcome proposals, if other countries are of interest to certain companies, great.
