Fury,a fantasy MMO developed by Australian company Auran.Auran has never before made a MMO,but this time it brings it first title to this year¡®s E3 expo.Through Fury was announced to public just in advance of E3,it did had lots of attention and made a big surpriese.Players, said, wow, not bad, this is the game I¡®m going to be playing next year.Auran CEO,Tony Hillian has recapped the response to Fury at E3 and shared it at the official, below is a snippet, enjoy. What did you hope to gain from E3? We had three main goals at E3: press coverage, public feedback and publisher business discussions.
Were you satisfied with what you achieved? Definitely. We were blown away by the public feedback. Our demo booth was constantly packed, with many players spending hours playing the game. It was very satisfying to hear so many people say "this is the game I¡®m going to be playing next year."
We gave in excess of 50 press interviews with both gaming and mainstream media in TV, radio and print and found the media to be very positive about Fury. They recognized that it was something different to everything else that was on display.
Discussions with publishers also went very well. We spoke to companies from China, Korea, US, UK, Germany and all across Europe and all were amazed at how much better the game looked in such a short space of time. We¡®re keen to identify the right partners, as selling an online game is not just about sticking products in a box. It¡®s very much about long term support and customer service and we need to make sure we find partners who can offer that to our end users.
