E3 Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising Extravaganza! - May 05, 2006

Check it out! Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising will be on the floor at E3 in two locations. The SOE Platform Publishing booth will have two demo machines and a video on the show floor. There will also be a VIP tour conducted by our very own Stieg Hedlund (Design Director) and Chris McKibbin (President & Executive Producer) inside the booth. The visual dazzlers, NVIDIA, will be hosting a demo of Gods & Heroes as well. This is all going down in the South Hall for the duration of the show.

What is Gods & Heroes? Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising is the first MMO developed by Perpetual Entertainment that takes the gods, creatures, mythology and setting of Ancient Rome; 300BC to be exact; and thrusts you right in the middle of it all. Create a hero and choose a God to pledge allegiance with as you progress through the chaos of war, battle for power, and deal with the jealousy of the other gods in this epic struggle for greatness.

Upon breaking free from the Telchins capture and gaining your wits and whereabouts, you will be faced with life threatening danger as you gain strength and the favor of the Gods. From here you will gain the ability to hire your own squad of minions that you command and order in and out of combat! Build a squad that best compliments your class and play style as you rise to power. Control your minion formations, strategies, and actions while they improve as you progress in your journey. From the ordinary infantryman to the exotic beasts of Myth ??? command them into battle and lead them to victory.

Upon exploring the sprawling landscape and cities of the soon to be Roman Empire, you will encounter a wide assortment of evil, mean, and fanciful creatures to engage in awesome visceral combat. Grapple and throw, smash and knockdown, defeat and destroy these mythological marauders using the Action Combat System which engages you in intense blade shattering battles like no other MMO to date.

But this is merely the beginning of what Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising has to offer. Endless opportunities for exploration, adventure, and harnessing the power of the gods await you.
