Microsoft is always one of the most mysterious, its best stuff for E3 is still hidden. But now next-gen has kick out a essential preview of the nine grand titles brough by Microsoft. Here we make a sample of them, you can visit here for the full details:

Crackdown

It‘s the first game from Real Time Worlds, the studio founded by David Jones. Jones created Grand Theft Auto, so his design docs have precedence he can‘t very well clone his own work.

Viva Piata

Viva Piata so far looks like a cute little piata-raising simulation. Its also Rares first real attempt at world domination, teaming with parent company Microsoft and Saturday morning moguls 4Kids Entertainment to turn the property into the next big playground phenomenon. Its a game, but its also a show. If anybodys taking bets, put money on the inevitability of merchandising as well.

Lost Odyssey

Lost Odyssey is the more distant of the two massive RPGs currently being worked on by Mistwalker, the studio Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi founded after taking the fall for the disastrous Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Its a little bit more mysterious as a result there are few screenshots available, and what we know of the plot is miniscule but ambitious the main character is cursed to live for a thousand years, and the player experiences the ups and downs of a millennium while generations of humanity turn to dust around him.

Too Human

Too Human is the game Denis Dyack has wanted to make while making other great games like Blood Omen and Eternal Darkness. Now he has the publisher, the technology, and the finances to do it and given what Silicon Knights has done with less in the past, there should be a lot to look forward to here.

Blue Dragon

Mistwalker is the studio that has the greatest potential to open up Japan to the Xbox 360. Blue Dragon is the first game scheduled to come out of that studio. Those are high stakes to be playing, but nobodys fooling around on this one. Sakaguchi is leading production, and art design is being handled by none other than one Akira Toriyama, whose golden touch has blessed cultural phenomena Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball.

N3: Ninety-Nine Nights

The Japanese release of Ninety-Nine Nights was met with a generally positive response, so even though weve known about it for a while, theres still good reason to anticipate it. This collaborative effort, if you think about it, is still pretty bizarre: Tetsuya Mizuguchi and his studio, Q Entertainment, have made a name for themselves making uber-stylish puzzle games like Lumines. An epic battle game along the lines of Dynasty Warriors seems well out of their comfort zone.

Mass EffectIf you want a team that knows its way around a story driven RPG, look no further than BioWare. Their Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was an amazing experience in a massive universe; it was written strongly and executed well, and gave a brand new Star Wars side story a brand new legion of adoring fans. Jade Empire in a lot of ways continued that success as well.

Halo 3

In terms of publishers heavy artillery, there are few guns as big as the one Microsoft is flashing in Bungies Halo 3. The latest word is that it can be expected to show up at E3, though it likely wont be playable, or even running in real time on real hardware. A video is expected. Given that there isnt even an official release date for the game yet, its somewhat fortunate that there will be any sign of the game at all.

Gears of War

Unlike Halo 3, Gear of War does have a set release date, will definitely be playable at E3, and is the blockbuster release of 2006 for Microsoft. Gears of War stole the show last year, and thus it remains the darling of this years holiday releases. It looks amazing; the Unreal Engine 3.0 is an incredible technological achievement.
