Well the start date for Dark Solstice‘s beta test has come and gone, but still testing has not begun. A recent post at the game‘s forums explains the situation and promises that testing will begin... wait for it... soon.
Happy New Year to all of the Dark Solstice community.
As you can see, 12/31/05 has passed and Beta has not yet started. There is nobody more disappointed than the DS Staff about this. We have experienced some development delays including a serious illness for a key staff member but hopefully that is all behind us now and we can move rapidly forward.
We know delays are commonplace in game development and because of this, we have been hesitant to announce a firm date for the start of Beta. We‘re getting closer....but we are not quite there yet.
We are working hard to bring you a game which you will all enjoy, and things are looking great. WE PROMISE to open Beta testing at the earliest possible date.
We give you our heartfelt appreciation for your patience thus far. Hang in there with us a while longer and we�re sure you will find it was worthwhile
