With the popularization of smart phones and tablet computers, the so-called "multi-platform" games (i.e. playable on computers, mobile phones, etc.) began to catch the eyes of a good many people. The emerging South Korean game developer IDO INC is engaged in creating such games. GreenBe Online, currently under development by IDO INC with the goal of entering the market this year, is a multi-platform side-scrolling 2D MMORPG which can be played on computers and smart phones.
As a 2D side-scrolling casual MMORPG, GreenBe Online features cartoony graphics, and suits all ages regardless of sex. According to the developer, currently 2D MMORPGs are rarely seen, so they can arouse more attention. 3D games that imitate 2D ones in the aspect of graphics can hardly highlight the 2D gaming fun.
