Today is the last day of 2011, let's review what happened to the Korean game industry this year. It can be said that Korean game industry suffered a lot in 2011. When game companies brought players happiness through new games, they indeed did something disappointing. After a serious selection, the Korean media have draw out the top 3 disappointing game news in South Korea.

1. All Blockbusters Were Missing in 2011
The greatest disappointment is that the four blockbusters: NCsoft's Blade & Soul, NHN's TERA, XL Games' ArcheAge and Blizzard Entertainment's Diablo III, which were scheduled to be officially released in 2011, nearly vanished. Except that TERA disappeared as a result of game problems, the other three were all delayed due to the development period and approval procedure.

Blade & Soul ended its 2nd CBT in September and will perform the 3rd one at the beginning of next year. ArcheAge is currently performing its 4th CBT, while Diablo hasn't got approval.
Additionally, games from many eye-catching small and medium-sized companies also let players down.
At the beginning of 2011, Choirock Games disbanded the development team of Berkanix and fired almost 100 employees at a time. Although Berkanix had cost the company 5 years and 20 billion Korean Won, it was cancelled. It is really a rare thing in Korean game industry. Besides, nothing was heard from NHN's Kingdom Under Fire II after its first CBT.

NED, which revealed its first video in 2006 and hyped by WeMade for many times, was also delayed because of changing Cry 3. Surprisingly, the highly-anticipated Yulgang 2 from Mgame failed to win recognition of players.
