The Most Unique MMO Promotion: Star Wars: The Old Republic Flash Mob

A wide variety of promotions for games have come thick and fast in recent years. On December 20th, EA held a unique promotional event called Flash Mob in New York's Times Square for its 3D MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic which officially released on the same day.

From the video, we can see that a group of Coserswielding lightsabers acted as Jedi knight and Sith warrior. They walked towards the center of the square from all directions and engaged in combat. After that, they left in a flash, leaving the clueless audience behind.

It is unknown whether this event can attract more players, but it has really caused a stir and left people a deep impression. Compared with other girl-centric promotional events, this type of themed promotional event appeals to people more. What do you think? Welcome to comment below.
