The countdown to the launch of Crossfire: Europe is finally over and the battlegrounds are officially open for intense gunfights! Mercenaries were busy in the days leading up to the game's launch, putting more than 17,500,000 bodies on ice. Now, to kick off the intense first-person shooter's live launch, SG Interactive is releasing a new gameplay mode and hosting several bonus events for gamers.
Beginning today, mercenaries in Crossfire: Europe can experience what it's like to be a hero. The new Hero Mode pits a squad of infectious mutants against a lone hero (chosen at random) armed with a special rifle/grenade launcher. The game is all about survival; if the Hero suffers more than two mutant attacks, he will become infected. The longest-lasting Heroes will win the round and earn the most experience.

Crossfire Europe is a fast-paced military combat shooter between two competing mercenary forces, Global Risk and Black List. Players choose which side to join and fight for across multiple gameplay modes including: Escape, Team Death Match, Elimination, Search and Destroy, Mutation, Ghost and the brand new Hero Mode.
