The world's first third-gen online game ArcheAge from Korea-based XL Games will kick off its fourth CBT on Dec. 8. The test will last 80 days and expects to recruit 5,000 players.
In the fourth CBT, some ultimate gameplay content concerning the original continent will be released for the first time, allowing players to experience the core fun of ArcheAge. It's introduced that the original continent is a place where the two opposing factions - Nuian (races: Nuian & Elf) and Hariharan (races: Ferre & Hariharan) co-exist and compete against each other. In the upcoming test, players will be allowed to establish countries, build castles and launch large-scale sieges against the hostile faction.
Newly unveiled race - Hari Haran
The newly-added fourth race Hari Haran is a cute and lovely young race who has typical facial features of Asian people and wears Chinese-style clothes. She also bears diversified attack skills.
Castle siege and other brand-new PvP gameplay
It's learnt that as the final destination where all puzzles are expected to be solved, the original continent will be open to players in the fourth CBT. Players may swim to this continent, but would have to fight with mighty monsters on the way. So, it's recommended that players go there by ship. The original continent is separated into several parts, and players need to take along ores and other resources to build their own castles on the continent. After castles are built, players will be able to launch sieges against other castles. In a siege, those uninvolved will be left out (such players can grab the crops near the castles).
