NHN, the well-known online game giant based in Korea has just announced that their licensed Kingdom Under Fire 2, an action MMORTS developed by Blueside will conduct its first closed beta test starting from Dec. 1 to Dec. 7 with tester recruitment opening from Nov. 21 to Nov. 27. Any interested player can apply for participating in the test through the official site of Kingdom Under Fire 2. The final list of selected testers will be announced on Nov. 28.
As a brand new MMO combining the elements of action and real-time strategy, Kingdom Under Fire 2 not only offers the excitement of controlling heroes to make prompt actions, but also allows players to deploy various units in the battleground and then enjoy the fun of planning war strategy just as they do in Starcraft.
It is learned that three characters including Swordsman, Soulcalibur and Berserker will go playable in the upcoming test and the level cap will be set at Level 20. In addition, testers can choose from different maps, including RPG map where players can only control their heroes, co-op map requiring players to control troops, etc.
Just like other role-playing games, every hero in Kingdom Under Fire 2 can use various skills, including combo option. In addition, they can set the troops in the auto-action mode which will activate troops to assist their heroes automatically.
