Do you remember that NCsoft played a trick on gamers on April Fools' Day of 2010 by a video introducing R&D result of mobile Blade and Soul? At that time, NCsoft announced the expected PC Blade & Soul was called off and the smart phone version would be developed instead. Many gamers believed the news while NCsoft declared later that it was only a joke, and the development of PC Blade & Soul would not be stopped.

However, NCsoft recruited the server program designers, client program designers and 3D chief art designers for Blade & Soul on iPhone & iPad platforms in public on its recruitment advertisement on Jan. 18, 2011.
Now the joke becomes the truth. It is said the mobile Blade & Soul has been completed, which is an MOG developed with Unreal Engine 3 and the graphics on mobiles and PCs share the same quality. NCsoft announced on its earnings conference of 2011 that the development of Blade & Soul had come to an end, a charging operation was to be performed in the first half of this year and the mobile Blade & Soul would go public synchronously.
