Sets in the futuristic urban warzone, PWE's online FPS Blacklight Retribution announced the April 3 release date for North America and Europe market. Currently, the game is in open beta and interested players can visit the game's official site http://blacklight.perfectworld.com/ to sign up and download for free.

Additional content like new game modes, supporting maps, and a variety of new weapons and related gameplay enhancers will come along with the official launch in early April. According to PWE, the game has already had a strong community and lots of dedicated players after five months' of closed beta and open beta testing.
Blacklight Retribution makes good use of Unreal Engine 3 and offers FPS fans some cutting edge visual effects and expansive customization that allows players to customize everything about a weapon, from its barrel, to ammo types, stocks, muzzles, optics, colors and even weapon tags. Fast-paced combat together with an action bonus system makes the gameplay more compelling and challenging.
