NCsoft 2011 Revenue Dropped, Blade & Soul Aims at Summer Release Window

NCsoft released their financial results for 4Q 2011 and revenue in 2011. In the conference call, the company revealed that Blade & Soul's development is completed and they are preparing for commercial launch. It will be in the first half of 2012, according to NCsoft's Ra Seong-Chan.
Specifically, NCsoft expects to release Blade & Soul in the beginning of summer vacation, thus around June. The schedule for CBT3 hasn't been confirmed but it's not likely to affect or change B&S's release plan. On the other hand, Guild Wars 2 will comence large scale beta test in March and April (which we already known) and it's planned to launch in the second half of 2012.
NCsoft's revenue in 2011 (download the official PDF here) drops 7% compared to that in 2010 and falls behind their competitor Nexon. However, with two aggressive titles deploying this year, NCsoft looks forward to having big increase in 2012.
