Nexon NA is planning for Dragon Nest's server merge and they have revealed the detailed plan. The current four servers in the west and east will be merged into two, one western server and one eastern server. Nexon hasn't confirmed the date for server merge but says that it will be implemented during a future maintenance.
Nexon says that "we are creating this server alliance to help players participate in bigger community activities and give all players a richer, more community-oriented experience. Players who enjoy a more individual experience will find nothing has changed save that they will have more options when they do decide to partner up."
Server merge won't change players' characters and their gear, and their guilds won't be affected. The only thing that will change is PvP ladder points, according to Nexon, it will be reset once the server merge occurs.
