If you love robot and mech, then Adhesive Games' online multi-player shooter Hawken powered by Unreal Engine won't disappoint you. What's more exciting is that the game might be free to play with microtransaction on Valve's Steam platform. Nowgamer.com found at Adhesive Games' latest job listing that the developer described Hawken as a "PC" and "FTP" game.

The job post says that Adhesive Games is looking for a Marketing Manager who will be "responsible for the marketing of forth-coming FTP FPS Mech Video game to core PC gamers and to leverage its cross over appeal to gain awareness from, and monetize against, a broader gaming audience."

There's no confirmation before in regard of the platform and business mode. The official FAQ says that the developer is "interested in bringing Hawken to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC" and expects Hawken "to be a downloadable title that will have a relatively low cost compared to boxed games."

Hawken is a first-person-shooter that allows you to view the cool cockpit and HUD of different mechs. Although the video below tells that the status of the game is still "work in progress", the physics of mechs and weapons are quite realistic.
