Hello MMO - Winners Predictions for Readers' Choice 2016
ByDate: Nov 27 2016 Views:
2016 MMOsite Readers’ Choice is about to start on Dec.1st with over one hundred contestants participating in the client game competition. I believe lots of excellent games have left you deep impressions. It really is a good chance for you guys to support your favorite games.
The Readers’ Choice this term consists of two rounds as the same as last year. The first round lasts 20 days, and the winners (of Most Classic Game, Most Anticipated Game, Best New MMO, Best Expansion, Favorite MMORPG, Favorite MMOFPS, Favorite Action MMO and Favorite MOBA) will be announced on Dec. 20. Then, the eight winners have access to the 2nd round for the championship.
Before that event starts, here is my personal prediction on which client game could end up winning. If you have any different idea, feel free to share it.
Most Classic Game - World of Warcraft
There is not too much argument about this category. According to the winners’ list of 2015, MU Legend, Ragnarok Online and World of Warcraft are the top 3 contenders for Most Classic. For me, I would love to vote for World of Warcraft. If Blizzard Entertainment can active involve in asking voters for support, I don’t think World of Warcraft would lose last year.
The loyal fans have not been deterred by the requirement of 45GB hard drive space when World of Warcraft’s latest expansion Legion came out at the end of August. The Legion expansion is set after the events of Warlords of Draenor, and follows of the Burning Legion’s third crusade into Azeroth. To prevent the invasion, heroes must venture into the Broken Isles and learn to master the Artifacts, legendary weapons that can help them defeat the Burning Legion’s armies.
World of Warcraft’s Legion invasions bring a lot of fun, open questing system that forces players to work together against enemy mobs, interested players can check out an awesome review on Legion Invasions by raptorak at here.
Most Anticipated MMORPG – Bless Online
Thanks to the publishers keeping their commitments, we are fortunate to access the most anticipated MMORPGs we voted last year, such as Tree of Savior, Black Desert Online, Blade&Soul and etc. Obviously, the Korean made games have generated a huge amount of hype these years.
My lists for the most anticipated MMORPGs are Revelation, Bless Online, Lineage Eternal and Lost Ark. If one must be chosen, Bless Online ranks the first. Even though Lineage Eternal and Lost Ark kicked off several closed beta in South Korea, it’s speculated that the time to see their English version won’t too fast, especially Lost Ark which has not been revealed any global plan at all. These two MMORPGs are quite similar, the one come first to NA/EU is supposed to win the gamers. Revelation started the first CBT in November, so the wait is over, I am looking forward to its official launch.
Aeria Games has become the NA/EU publisher of anticipated MMORPG Bless Online and the localization is currently under way. Built by Unreal Engine 3, Bless Online is a story-driven fantasy MMORPG featuring targeting/non-targeting option, RvR conflict, non-gender-locked characters, 10 different races, good graphics, nice character customization system and challenging PK arena. Only one thing I am concerning is whether Aeria Games can live up to the expectations to publish Bless Online successfully.
