Time crawls, waiting hurts and the end of October comes, but not the CBT of Revelation. Literally, many of us have wasted our precious October waiting for Revelation. Time to put it aside until November 3rd and give other games a proper look. Apart from Revelation, there are some other games announcing their CBT/OBT in October. Hello MMO this month is going to talk about 10 MMOs that kicked off CBT/OBT in October.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game

gwent6402

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is a free-to-play collectible card game developed by CD Projekt RED. In Gwent, each player starts by drawing ten cards from the deck. After that the only way to draw more cards is by playing special units.

There are three types of cards in the game: units, weather cards and magic cards. Units are the creatures or minions of the game. For each unit type, there is a lane on the board. Each unit has a number that represents its power. Weather cards usually weaken a lane.

The closed beta of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game went live on Oct. 25th. Codes were sent out to players who want to join the closed beta. If you're interested in it, keep an eye on this page.

Lil’ Conquest

Lil’ Conquest is a free browser-based business simulation and strategy game that enables players to build their villageby establishing a productive empire, and also set up armies to conquer the world by recruiting the world’s bravest heroes and units of ancient and modern times.

Unlike common simulation games, Lil’ Conquest requires much higher strategies on the layout of the village production line. And the game’s “cute graphics and the whole setting of the game is pleasingly colorful and lively, which was refreshing considering how many dark, gritty browser games you can find today”(quoted from Lil' Conquest: A Surprisingly Complex Browser Game, by Daniel Csaki).

Lil’ Conquest was released at 7am GMT Oct. 19th. Any player who uses a web browser can play the game at LOYGAME’s website. And there’s also a Newbie Pack Giveaway. You can visit this page for more details.
