Hillary and Trump Make Use of Pokemon Go's Popularity in the Election

It is incredible that the holy American President Campaign will be connected with gaming industry! The use of Pokemon Go shows us that these two quasi-presidents will do anything to win the votes. Politicians!

It is the very first time that the political election uses a famous AR mobile game as an attraction voters. Hillary had arranged a “Gotta Catch ‘Em’ All” event and tended to attract players to vote for her and win some prizes in Pokemon Go. But Trump applied this game as a weapon and he posted a “Crooked Hillary” on his Facebook and tagged her with “Often found lying to the American people; rigging the system, and sharing TOP SECRET emails”.

Most recently two professors at the Ivy League college worked with developers to produce a “HillaryDonald Go” from Pokemon Go. They replaced the Pokemon creatures with the two candidates and those playing the new augmented-reality game must find the nearest Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump “booth”, send their preferred candidate “good vibes” that allow them to grow in support. Once a booth has received more than 50 percent of the “good vibes” from those who have discovered it, it takes on the face of that candidate. Players viewing the candidates will see them react with humorous expressions and hear them recite soundbites from the campaign trail.

This election has now gone far away from our notion of a normal and formal president election, but it is interesting to find the gaming elements in a political event. Maybe even politicians are concerning to take an advantage of game’s popularity. Here are the links bringing you HillaryDonald Go:
