TERA’s Spellbound update is in the near horizon (with an official launch date of the 25th, so just a few days away!), and with it come two brand new dungeons to take part in. Both of them are for end-game content, and the names are Lilith’s Keep and Ruinous Manor. While there is a bit of crossover between these and the returning dungeons when it comes to gear and material drops, these are going to be the latest and greatest challenges, and bring with them some things that just aren’t available elsewhere. So let’s check out what to expect when getting into these, and what you need to know beforehand!

TERA Spellbound New Dungeons

Lilith’s Keep

Lilith’s Keep is the harder of the two new dungeons, taking place in a forgotten castle in the Cliffs of Insanity. Within are three bosses, Pyrepelt, Arachandelebra, and Lilith, all three of which are beyond ferocious. Requirements and other information for this dungeon are:

• Level required: 65

• Recommended number of players: 5

• Item level required: 410 for normal and 417 for hard

• Daily entry limit of 2 for normal (4 for elite players) and 1 for hard (2 for elite players)

• Location: Cliffs of Insanity (Popolion) or through using a Keep and Manor Teleport Scroll

As for item drops:

Normal

• Guile weapon and gear crates

• Materials for crafting Guile gear

• Imperator weapon and armor designs

• Etching designs and materials

• Accessories and accessory designs

• Tier 10 enchanting materials

Hard

• Ambush weapon and Ambush boot materials and designs

• Quatrefoil Brooch designs and materials

• Manorborne and Estateborne accessories

• Guile gear materials

• Tier 10 enchanting materials

As for the difficulty of this dungeon, the developers rank it as a 3-star (out of 5) rating for normal and 4 stars for hard. As such, the normal mode should be somewhat easy to learn for more experienced players, with mechanics that shouldn’t be too difficult to learn. And the hard mode will be great for preparing for the normal mode of Ruinous Manor.

TERA Spellbound New Dungeons

Ruinous Manor

This builds upon the lore of the previous dungeon, Lilith’s Keep, bringing about enemies that have been resurrected for another battle. The fights here include battles against Resurrected Atrocitas, Resurrected Malgarios, and Lachelith. You might be familiar with Atrocitas as being a Level 27 World Boss within the game, and Malgarios from within the Sinestral Manor dungeon. Of course, these new versions that come within Ruinous Manor are going to be much more difficult than the previous encounters, bringing a solid balance of difficulty and rewards for those who take them down. Requirements and other information for Ruinous Manor are:

• Level required: 65

• Recommended number of players: 5

• Item level required: 417 for normal and 422 for hard

• Daily entry limit of 1 for both normal and hard (2 for elite players)

• Location: Cliffs of Insanity (Popolion) or through using a Keep and Manor Teleport Scroll

As for item drops:

Normal

• Ambush chest and glove designs

• Quatrefoil Brooch designs and materials

• Ambush and Guile materials

• Guile chest armor pieces

• Manorborne and Estateborne accessories

• Tier 10 enchanting materials

Hard

• Ambush weapon and gear designs

• Quatrefoil Brooch designs and materials

• Ambush and Guile materials

• Manorborne and Estateborne accessories

• Tier 11 enchanting materials

And as for the difficulty of this dungeon, the developers rate it as 4 stars for normal and 5 stars for hard. As such, this is going to be a much more difficult dungeon than normal, but with that comes great rewards, creating a truly rewarding experience!

TERA Spellbound New Dungeons

Other Dungeons for Gearing Up

A great number of the drops that are being added with these two brand new dungeons are also available within the two that are being re-released again, Vault of Kaprima and Sky Cruiser Endeavor Hard Mode. While not all items are going to be found across all four dungeons, these two revived ones will help greatly with getting geared up and ready to get involved with the new ones, as well as help reduce the issues when it comes to gearing up going forward. For example, there is a lot of crossover between Ambush gear materials coming from both Sky Cruiser Endeavor and Ruinous Manor (on both hard and normal modes). Along with this, the Manorborne and Manorguest accessories are coming across all four of the dungeons, making these a bit easier to obtain.

Getting Prepared for the Fight

With only a few days until Spellbound hits the official TERA servers, now is a great time to get prepared for the battles ahead. If you haven’t already hit the required item level, this is the perfect time to do it – and go a bit above and beyond, if possible, as that will make the battles within much easier and more forgiving. Along with this, snag all the consumables you need and psych yourself up for the latest and greatest battles for 5 person groups! And be ready for a challenging battle ahead – it’s something we’ve needed for a while within TERA, and now it’s here.
