Korean action MMORPG Tera is still quite popular among western players, yet following the news that NHN planed to cease the development of Tera, recently CN server publisher Kunlun announces that they will shut down the game on Aug.18th in China.

Tera CN kicks off Open Beta on Dec.11th, 2014, less than two years in operation, the game announces the closure even without making a blast. Though the publisher didn't show the reason why they gives up the game, some game insiders believe that launching too late, insufficient gameplay and poor operations could all be the reasons lead to the failure.

Actually Korean server of Tera used to face the similar situation as CN server, but Nexon takes over the game at the beginning of the year to bring Tera KR a new life. So we can still believe that Tera has a potential to keep its charm.
