The 30th Game Developers Conference has just come to an end. While VR and AR were definitely the highlight of this yearly game festival, some excellent mobile games are also supported VR or AR devices now. Today I've selected some excellent mobile games revealed in GDC 2016. Check below to see is there anyone you want to have a try:
Pokemon GO is what I expected most in this conference, and I was so disappointed when I heard that its official team cancelled the presentation in GDC 2016 to focus on the game's development.
Inspired by the massively multiplayer, location-based, AR game Ingress, Pokemon GO will allow players to find, battle and capture Pokemon in real world locations. The game will work with a Bluetooth-powered device called Pokémon Go Plus, which players can wear on their wrist or pinned to their clothing. As you can see below, this device is kinda like a Pokeball.
Although we didn't hear more about this game in GDC 2016, we can't deny that this game is still highly anticipated. Pokemon GO will start the closed test in Japan later this month, and I will keep an eye on it.
