Sony to Launch VR Headset Project Morpheu in First Half of 2016

In the second day of GDC 2015 in Moscone Center, Sony has announced that their Virtual Reality headset Project Morpheu will be launched in first half of 2016. As we can see that a VR evolution is entering the gaming industry with the release of the Oculus-powered Gear VR and the Valve/HTC-powered "Re Vive" headset.
Project Morpheus is Sony's PlayStation 4 VR entrant, the latest version prototype features a 5.7 inch 1920 X RGB X 1080 resolution OLED display, 120hz refresh rate, improved motion tracking, and lower latency. The headset aims to deliver an experience that lives up to our vision and ignites the passion of gamers. Morpheus will launch in the first half of 2016, and Sony will unveil more information at E3.
Project Morpheus is actually just one of a few notable VR solutions that are rooted in games. Samsung's Gear VR offers a mobile phone-based configuration, while HTC's Vive is PC-based, made in collaboration with Valve's SteamVR.
