[TGS 2013] Final Fantasy XIV Has Over a Million Players

Over the Tokyo Game Show 2013, Square Enix has unveiled lots of detail information about Final Fantsy XIV: A Realm Reborn. As the hottest MMORPG in recent days, producer Naoki Yoshida has released the first letter at TGS on some interesting information about the state of the game and its future. FFXIV has 1,080,000 total unique logins since the launch, with an average of 617,000 unique daily logins and a concurrency peak of 344,000 users.

The letter talks about the game's first patch which contains crossover contents with Dragon Quest X and Final Fantasy XI coming at the end of the year. Version 2.1 will include the following content: Good King Moogle Battle, Extreme Titan, Garuda and Efreet, one new dungeon (Pharos Sirius) and two hard mode dungeons with different mechanics for the bosses, player housing for all three city states, the Wolves’ Den PVP Arena,treasure hunting, hard modes against special bosses, beastmen daily quests and content finder random matching.
