The zombies are coming back with Plants vs. Zombies 2, here below will guide you how to beat Basic Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Bnckethead Zombie, Flag Zombie and Dr. Zomboss.
Zombies (Basic Zombie, Mummy Zombie, Pirate Zombie, and Cowboy Zombie in Plants vs. Zombies 2) are the basic "zombie" unit; they are weak and easy to kill. In fact, it takes three shots for a Melon-pult to kill one of them. Having no special defensive equipment or travel abilities, these zombies are susceptible to any type of attack. They are found in almost every level. They are the first zombies the player encounters in every Plants vs. Zombies game. At the official start of a level, one will say "the zombies... are coming... brains..." and growl, signaling that the level has started. The Conehead Zombie, Buckethead Zombie, and Screen Door Zombie become this zombie when their armor is destroyed.
The Conehead Zombie (Conehead Mummy, Conehead Pirate, and Conehead Cowboy in Plants vs. Zombies 2) is a zombie with a roadcone on its head for protection. While it is relatively easy to defeat, it is much harder to eliminate than both the Flag Zombie and the ordinary zombie. It has somewhat high health, but it can only be directly hurt once the cone has fallen off its head.
The Buckethead Zombie (Buckethead Mummy, Buckethead Pirate, and Buckethead Cowboy in Plants vs. Zombies 2) is a basic zombie with a bucket on its head, greatly increasing its toughness. The bucket does not weaken plant effects, however, it does increase the number of hits required to eliminate the zombie. One of their weaknesses is the Magnet-shroom, as it removes the bucket, rendering him vulnerable and much easier to defeat.
The Flag Zombie (Flag Mummy Zombie, Flag Pirate Zombie, and Flag Cowboy Zombie in Plants vs. Zombies 2) is a zombie that announces a large wave of zombies. He is shown on the level progress bar as a red flag with a brain picture on it. They have the same health as a regular zombie, but move slightly faster. They can appear on both land and water (with a ducky tube). It is the second zombie the player encounters in Plants vs. Zombies and Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time and is also the second zombie in the Suburban Almanac.
Dr. Edgar George Zomboss is the main antagonist and the ruler of the zombies in Plants vs. Zombies series. He is battled on the roof level 5-10 as the final boss in the game. The battles with Dr. Zomboss are in Air Raid and the only Roof Night level, probably so that Coffee Beans would not need to come in order to wake up the Ice-shrooms (which can be troublesome). He is the second to last zombie encountered in the game.
He sends out other zombies to attack the player except Flag Zombies, Dancing Zombies, Backup Dancers, Digger Zombies, Balloon Zombies, aquatic zombies, and the Zombie Bobsled Team (despite ice trails from Zombonis). The Zombot also has its own attacks, most importantly fireballs and iceballs which are released from its mouth when it bends down, which is the only time when it can be damaged. The boss battle itself is a conveyor-belt level, so seed packets come on the conveyor belt at the top (or left) of the screen. The only seed packets that can appear are Flower Pot, Cabbage-pult, Kernel-pult, Melon-pult, Jalapeno, and Ice-shroom. Jalapenos and Ice-shrooms are most effective.
