Star Vault has announced that the sandbox MMORPG Mortal Online is now free-to-play. Upon creating a new game account, players may immediately download and play Mortal Online for free without time restrictions. Premium account access, starting at EUR 7.75 per month, removes skill cap restrictions allowing a player to do more with a single character.
While new accounts are created with a single character slot, existing players of Mortal Online will receive two additional slots for a total of three. Up to four character slots may be acquired at EUR 9.00 each. For one week's time, all accounts which log into Mortal Online will receive a limited account-bound cloak which will be available on all characters of the account, existing and future. This promotion will end on Thursday, December 5, 2012.
