Not only males but also females can be mighty attackers in games. Females have gradually become a new force to be reckoned with in the game industry.
According to a recent survey made by the Forbes magazine among the staff of a famous American cookie company, 49% of the company's female employees play online games; a survey conducted by the German Trade Association of Interactive Entertainment Software (BIU) shows that 40% of the players in Germany are females; in South Korea, female players of mainstream online games take up 30% of the total, and 50%+ female players have an affection for online games.

To grasp female players' hearts, various game companies around the world launch strong and charming female characters successively.
Gears of War 3, a great TPS based on X-box 360, has brought forth the all-new female character Anya in an attempt to meet female players' demands and seize the corresponding market.
The AOS game Cyphers has also unveiled a new female character by the name of "Michelle Monahun" recently, seeking to pull in substantial females with the support of easy controls, stirring actions, and personalized hairstyles & clothes.
