The Darkness II is the sequel to the 2007 FPS title The Darkness. Although the game belongs to FPS genre, its gameplay is new and interesting, as players will be able to interact with the environment with the Demon Arms, literally a pair of tentacles. The game becomes more exciting and it offers more explosives when you can shoot with guns and "slash, grab, and throw objects and enemies" with tentacles at the same time. The game is based on popular comic book series created by Top Cow, and the developer Digital Extremes uses a cel-shading technique to make the graphics close to the style of the comics but up-to-dated at the same time.
