Recently, Sony Online Entertainment has announced that DC Universe Online (DCUO), which was released at the beginning of the year, will be changed into a F2P game. In an exclusive interview, Executive Producer Lorin Jameson explained a lot why they chose to do that, but the main reason is that DCUO has few users, so it will adopt the free-to-play model.

I think you would have the same thought "Bullshit!" as me when getting this news.
Although Sony Online Entertainment once guaranteed that the game would perform patches every month after its official release. It was a pity that the promise was broken in the second month. The interval between two patches was longer and longer. More badly, Sony Online Entertainment's account system was hacked and it took a long time to fix, during which all of its MMOs were forced to shut down. Due to the above reasons, I deleted my account and quit the game. I am sure most of players may have taken the same action like me.

From this game, we can see a common problem: players are no longer easy to be satisfied and a game costs much more time and money than before.
