WEBZEN Expands C9 Service into SEA, to Partner with Ini3 Digital in Thailand

WEBZEN Inc. (WWW.WEBZEN.COM) announced WEBZEN began to expand Action RPG, C9 (Continent of the 9th) service into Southeast Asian market.

WEBZEN has signed a contract for C9 with Ini3 Digital Co.,Ltd., one of the top largest online game publisher in Thailand, but will not reveal the specifics of the contract due to undisclosed terms.

WEBZEN and Ini3 Digital will discuss more details regarding its localization and content updates, aimed at C9 service in Thailand within 2012.

C9 is an Action RPG featuring stunning graphics, various character customizing, and great action animations. C9 has been beloved by many gamers, and won a winner of five Korea Game Awards in 2009, including the Grand Award.

Ini3 Digital is the first company to introduce free-to-play model of online games to Thailand market via 'Pangya', and Ini3 Digital is currently servicing several Korean online games in Thailand.

In addition to Thailand, WEBZEN has already been in a good partnership with local publishers for C9 in Japan, China. WEBZEN began commercial service for C9 in Japan in July, and 2nd Closed Beta Test is hosted for arranging the commercial service in China.
