Bounty Hounds Online (NA) Closed Beta Preview

Mankind has outgrown its single planet existence, and the need to expand further into the galaxy arose. Expansion comes at a cost however, for when you have the desire to occupy other planets there is one thing to remember; you may not be the only one there. As the expansion began, Alien life forms were encountered and determined to be a threat, and without hesitation a war broke out.

The great colonial war shaped tales of both glory and deep sorrow, but inevitably mankind prevailed and conquered several planets. With this achievement the Federal Government was formed in order to bring peace and justice to the galaxy, bringing an end to the colonial war. A feeling of peace washed out over the galaxy, for most. Others saw right through the fa?ade and as the Federal Government decreased the amount of soldiers in its ranks, Private Military Companies were born.

Now there are four major groups of guns for hire, and each is just as unruly and bloodthirsty as the next. Consisting of the Corona, Aurora, Nucleo and Umbra PMC's, citizens may enlist in one of five unique jobs. As a Trooper a citizen can expect to be trained in exceptional defense, while maintaining a solid understanding in disconnecting an Alien's head from its body. Keen sight and superb aim are qualities best found in the position of an Artillery Hound, raining down punishment from afar. As technology has progressed, so has the ability to arm Scientists with weapons that make them just as formidable a foe as any Trooper.

Not everyone is inspired by battle however, although they still want to play a part by supporting the soldiers in combat; this is where the Bioengineer steps in. Last but not least, for the cream of the crop and truly elite fighters are the Agents; a force dedicated to nothing but killing. Unleashed to the galaxy armed to the teeth, each PMC seeks power and victory over the Aliens of the galaxy and rival PMC. Who will emerge on top? Well that is for the players to decide, and that is the setting for Bounty Hounds Online a new Sci-Fi MMORPG currently in Closed Beta (NA).
