Qgames, the company behind the popular tower defense game "PixelJunk", has announced at the Casual Connect Conference that a browser version of this strategy game will be introduced to the social networks as a free to play game.
This Social network version will remain the same game-play as the original title brought to the consoles in 2008. Nevertheless, some features will be changed to fit the game into the new free to play market.

In this up-coming title, the enemies will move in a determined path, and players will be able to make and produce seeds in order to create towers and defend their buildings. But that isn't all, since the game will include special level maps in which players will have an inventory with collect-able shovels, and these will serve as a way to unlock more game stages and locations.

Will this PixelJunk free to play version work in this up-coming title? That's still something that we will have to see when this game launches into the gaming market.
It's always good to know, that new console games are getting into the online gaming industry. And, with Pixeljunk monsters, the large list of games which were brought to the Mmorpg market is growing quite fast. We shouldn't be surprised if more titles are brought from the consoles to the online market, since the Mmorpg market is getting more popular these days.
