Rift: River of Souls World Event Wrap-up, Compensation Announced

If you were trying to take part in the River of Souls world event last Saturday, then you must be disappointed. Rift's first world event has experienced some problems as those eager players from both NA and Europe servers can't do anything but wait in a lengthy queue to access the game. Just among the endless waiting time, some servers saw the second and the third phases of the event came and gone with lightning speed.

In terms of this, Trion Worlds CCO and Rift Executive Producer Scott Hartsman immediately issued a statement in the forum promising that the dev team will take everything they've learned as well as all the players' comments into consideration and at the same time preparing the next set of world event in a more comprehensive way. On top of that, Hartsman promised that all the active subscribers who were intending to participate in the final stages of the event will be compensated.
